Rooted in Little Hulton, open to everyone
We are a volunteer-led charity working to make everyday life in our corner of Salford friendlier, greener and fairer.
How Compassionate Humanity began
Compassionate Humanity began in July 2024 in Little Hulton, Salford, Greater Manchester — one of the 10% most deprived areas in England according to the English Indices of Deprivation 2019.
We believe our neighbourhood deserves the same opportunities, joy and connection as anywhere else. So we organise free community events, weekly activities for children, wellbeing projects and environmental volunteering — run by local people, for local people.
Compassionate Humanity is a Charitable Incorporated Organisation registered with the Charity Commission for England and Wales (charity number 1208837, registered 26 June 2024).
